Located 100km south east of Coober Pedy, Prominent Hill is Thiess’ only Copper/Gold mine. Owned by Oz Minerals, Thiess is responsible for full mine operation under the current 6 year contract valued at $800m.

Reporting to the Project Manager and with discipline support from Brisbane, you will be a key member of the project leadership team supporting all operational functions, whilst being responsible for the performance of the finance and administration department.

With experience in a similar role, you will contribute to the strategic direction of the project. Demonstrated ability to lead and influence, complimented with tertiary qualifications in accountancy are essential as you will be managing project budgeting, forecasting and reporting, compiling DFR and FBT returns, and participating in cross training and development of colleagues.

This role is offered on a two weeks on, one week off FIFO roster via Adelaide. First class camp accommodation is provided in conjunction with an attractive remuneration package.
