The Thiess Degremont Nacap Joint Venture has been established to construct the 84 kilometre pipeline that will carry the potable water produced by the Desalination Plant to the Melbourne water supply network.

The effective maintenance of plant and equipment utilised in the pipeline construction is one of the important factors in the Joint Venture achieving its productivity targets. As such we are seeking an experience Plant Manager  to lead all operational aspects of plant and equipment maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the positions will include:

  • providing leadership and direction to all maintenance personnel including sub contractors, suppliers and original equipment manufacturers.
  • driving maintenance practices that ensure that equipment fleet availability meets performance targets.
  • managing critical plant/equipment breakdowns to minimise impact on construction.
  • monitoring maintenance costs and equipment performance.
  • ensuring all work is carried out in a safe manner and within OH&S guidelines.

To be considered for this position you will possess supervisory level experience in a mobile plant maintenance environment, with a strong understanding of maintenance planning and condition monitoring, and OH&S practices.

This role offers a chance to build your career and work with a top team on a vital and high profile piece of infrastructure.
