As part of the “Our Water Our Future: The Next Stage” of the Government’s Water Plan, the Victorian Government is developing Australia’s largest desalination plant near Wonthaggi to produce drinking water from seawater. The Victorian Desalination Project will deliver one of the largest reverse-osmosis desalination plants in the world, capable of supplying up to 150 billion litres of water a year - more than a third of Melbourne’s annual water needs and ensuring drinking water is available even in times of drought.

The whole area is family friendly with a host of recreational activities.

We are currently seeking an experienced Surveyor  to manage the data and associated GIS associated with the construction of the Desalination Plant in Wonthaggi, plus manage the Permits to Work system.

Your key abilities will include the ability to interpret and manage field data using Terra Model /12D software and engage with construction teams relying on timely and accurate information. You must have experience working on a large, fast paced infrastructure project.

You will be expected to work typical project hours, six days a week, in this challenging position and be willing to relocate to Victoria. This roles offer a chance to build your career, work with a top team on a vital piece of infrastructure and enjoy living in a beautiful part of Victoria with a myriad of recreational opportunities.
